Ticks can be found in all green areas - yards, parks, forests and more. They feed on blood and can spread very dangerous, even lethal, diseases. They do not like heat and sunshine, so you can encounter them mainly in shady grasslands. They spread most aggressively in April-June. They are mostly transported from rats, domestic animals, and farm animals.

For the reliable destruction of ticks, massive spraying of poison on all green areas is necessary. They instantly destroy the ticks and their eggs.

The price depends on two components - the selected provider and the size of the area that will be treated.

How to prepare before the visit?

You can prepare for the treatment against ticks and thus make the work of pest controllers much quicker and more effective. Before the professionals come, it's recommended to:

• Cut the grass;
• Keep track of the weather forecasts and call them when it's certain not to rain at least a day after the treatment is complete;
• Consult a vet to remove pests from all domestic animals;
• Do not water your lawns at least a few hours before the pest control company comes in;

How long does the procedure last and how long is the quarantine period?

The duration varies depending on the size of the area. Typically, pesticides are harmless to humans and pets.

How many procedures are necessary?

For best results, the area needs to be treated at least 2 times. The Ministry of Health recommends preventive treatment of all green areas at least two times a year.
